If you ever find your Chihuahua digesting a chocolate, you know what the risks will occur. We as humans can enjoy chocolate without thinking twice. On the other hand the dog, especially small breed of Chihuahuas are so unlucky.
Chocolate candy is usually regarded as having taste sweet and delicious. But this is contrary to the Chihuahua because chocolate is poison for them. More specifically, natural compound which is found in chocolate called theobromine makes chocolate dangerous for dogs
Moreover, for a small dog side effects will be more visible. Your chihuahua may experience epileptic seizures, heart problems and in some cases the inside bleeding. Unfortunately, the worst scenario, most of the chocolate can cause death to your pet.
